Compliance Statement

Last updated: 2 July 2025

Introduction

Looping is a learning and assessment platform designed to support the delivery of recognised training, curriculum-based learning, and workplace education through immersive, scenario-based experiences. Looping does not operate as a government-accredited training provider (including as a Registered Training Organisation or RTO in Australia), nor does it issue formal qualifications, statements of attainment, or other certification.

Looping content is developed using the proprietary Assessment Convergence Model™, which ensures alignment with nationally and internationally recognised units of competency, qualifications frameworks, curriculum outcomes, and training objectives. All content is designed to integrate into formal training and assessment environments delivered by accredited or authorised education and training providers.

Who Looping Is Designed For

Looping is designed to be used by qualified educators and recognised training providers, including but not limited to:

  • Accredited or authorised training providers (e.g. vocational education and training (VET) providers such as RTOs and TAFE in Australia, and TVET institutions internationally)

  • Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions

  • Schools and school systems (public, private, and international)

  • Colleges and universities

  • Workforce development organisations

  • Employers delivering in-house training and induction

  • Corporate learning and development (L&D) teams

  • Government education departments and agencies

  • Non-government and not-for-profit education and training organisations

Use of Looping assumes that the educational organisation or trainer using the platform holds the appropriate regulatory approval, accreditation, or recognised status for the delivery of formal training and/or the issuing of certification, where applicable.

Role of Looping

Looping provides:

  • Immersive learning modules aligned to specified training outcomes, designed for active learner engagement

  • Scenario-based, interactive content grounded in real-world workplace contexts

  • Mapped learning and assessment experiences aligned to recognised qualifications, curriculum outcomes, and training standards

  • Automatically generated evidence portfolios and learner activity logs to support assessor validation and audit readiness

  • Real-time learner feedback, AI-assisted support, and progressive reinforcement to build capability and confidence

  • Flexible delivery options that integrate with classroom, remote, or self-paced learning environments

  • Assessment convergence across performance, knowledge, and behavioural outcomes within a single immersive session

  • Transparent evidence trails that reduce assessor admin and support audit integrity

  • Customisable environments and mapped logic tailored to sector-specific or institution-specific needs

Looping does not:

  • Issue qualifications, certifications, or statements of attainment

  • Validate or approve final assessment decisions

  • Act as a substitute for qualified educators, assessors, or trainers

  • Deliver training independently or on behalf of any registered organisation

Validation & Certification Responsibility

While Looping delivers immersive learning and assessment experiences aligned to recognised qualifications, curriculum outcomes, and training standards, all final decisions relating to assessment validation and certification remain the responsibility of the authorised educator, assessor, or institution using the platform.

Looping, including the Looping Assessment Convergence Model™ and Ninefiftysix Pty Ltd, explicitly disclaim liability or responsibility for final assessment outcomes or competency determinations made by educators, training institutions, or other recognised organisations.

The responsibility for thoroughly reviewing, validating, and officially recording all final competency decisions rests solely with the assessor and the training provider, in accordance with their own regulatory standards and requirements.

Evidence Mapping and Documentation

Mapping documentation is provided to education and training providers to support compliance and internal validation. Looping's content is designed to produce real-time, mapped performance evidence in accordance with the requirements of the associated qualification, curriculum, or framework.

All content is developed with reference to specific performance criteria, knowledge requirements, assessment conditions, and relevant skill outcomes associated with the aligned units, qualifications, or program goals.

Integration and Customisation

Looping modules are designed to be integrated into broader training programs and delivered using a flexible model. Each immersive experience can be tailored to reflect specific institutional requirements, learner cohorts, regulatory frameworks, or internal assessment methods.

Integration support is available for training and curriculum teams during pilot delivery and licensing rollouts. Looping also supports LMS integration and mapped evidence exports for assessor review.

Learner Identity and Session Integrity

To support compliance with audit and integrity requirements, Looping sessions require learner identification through a combination of student metadata and voice-based biometric authentication.

Each learner is verified using:

  • Full name and institutional identifier (e.g. USI in Australia, student ID number, or equivalent)

  • A one-time biometric voiceprint setup at the start of their first session

This voiceprint is used to authenticate the learner at the beginning of each subsequent session, ensuring that only the authorised individual can access and complete the mapped assessment experience.

This process is designed to:

  • Prevent impersonation or unauthorised access

  • Maintain assessment integrity across remote, headset-based, or self-paced environments

  • Support audit traceability and secure learner tracking

  • Align with institutional identity protocols and compliance requirements

Biometric and identity data is handled securely in accordance with Looping’s privacy policy and applicable data protection laws in each region. Voiceprint data is used solely for session authentication and is linked only to the learner’s institutional identifier (e.g. student ID). It is not connected to any personal data such as date of birth, address, or contact information, and cannot be used for profiling, surveillance, or identification outside the session authentication context.
